Brussels Expertise Labels hosts third edition of awards
Respect, elegance, savoir-faire and passion are just some of the qualities that unite the members of Brussels Expertise Labels (BEL). A collection of more than 50 Brussels ‘houses’, among them D’Ieteren Luxury Performance, which come together to promote expertise, unique talents, the openness and warmth of their stores in Belgium and beyond, and of course expert quality and beauty. Since 1933 BEL has been working to cultivate curiosity and support business and the Brussels region by bringing these values to their customers.
The BEL prizes 2024 and an ephemeral exhibition
The BEL prizes celebrated Belgian innovation at Autoworld from 29th Nov to 1st Dec 2024. Prizes were awarded for: ‘Brussels Enterprise Transmission’ for a young talent embodying the future of Brussels enterprise, and ‘Brussels Insider Expert’ for an individual or institution that has significantly contributed to enhancing Brussels’ reputation. The four Laureates were:
Rish Lab – Authentic, sustainable Kombucha drinks made in Brussels
Laure Kasiers – Unique handmade rugs
Bel Albatros – Panels and furniture made from plastic waste
Tenue de Ville – Exclusive wallpaper designs made into weavings
The prize giving was accompanied by an exhibition entitled “When Expertise Meets Art.” A unique opportunity for members to collaborate with talent from the creative world to craft exquisite, themed artworks.
